After a 35 year career in real estate, Joe James has turned his attention toward non-profit work. His connections within the real estate industry allowed him to bring in Realtors as the source of our volunteer driver network.

Our executive director, Marlene Koncewicz, has a bachelor's degree in Art from Prescott College in Prescott, Arizona and is a small business owner of a local board game company, Familiar Games. Marlene worked for the past seven years in public education with the past five years specializing in Therapeutic Services in Art in the Special Education Classroom. Marlene started working with Wheels of Hope as a volunteer and she brings her compassion and caring to the position of Executive Director.

Rebecca utilizes her background in Computer Science and IT to assist Wheels of Hope in all things tech. From website design and management to simple computer questions, Rebecca is available to help out the organization.

Joy Ovington is an experienced nonprofit officer with a background in administration, governance, and the arts. She serves as Creative Director and Treasurer of the Georgia Fine Arts Academy and has held board roles with BEE Club, Inc. and Windy City Performing Arts. As Secretary of Wheels of Hope, she supports organizational structure and compliance, helping advance the mission of connecting people to vital services and opportunities.
